Ages 18 and up


Experienced potters may work at their own pace and are encouraged to work on the wheel or do hand building. Clay and glazes sold through the studio.

Fee: NHAC Members $10.00

Nonmembers:  $20.00



Sogetsu Ikebana


Ikebana is a Japanese form of flower arranging which concentrates on line, color, and space using materials from your backyard garden. Ikebana can be done by anyone, anytime, anywhere with any

materials. You must email Reiko at nakajimar@comcast.net by Tuesday to reserve your space.


Days: 1st & 3rd Friday of every month

Time: 10:00am - 12:00pm

Fee: Varies (Email Reiko for cost)

Japanese Traditional Painting—NEW!

Come explore Japanese Traditional Painting: an ancient form of painting with an expert in this field. Students are introduced to materials both technical and practical, allowing them to see the different varieties available and to touch them with their own hands. Hiromi Katayama will provide in depth,  hands-on instruction and demonstrations. All materials will be provided.
