Healing Through Art Program

In 2015, we are began this new program which expands our services to vulnerable populations who would otherwise be unable to pay for arts education.   We continue to offer this much needed healing program.  In the fall of 2018, we donated another 170 backpacks to local children.

Thank you to all of our members and friends who gave generously to support our Healing Through Art Program. We were able to supply 100 bags to the North Hills Food Bank and 100 bags to the North Hills Community Outreach’s Food Pantry clients.

Our goal is to lift children’s spirits and spark imagination.  Creative art activities help children in all areas of development including physical, social, cognitive, and emotional.

With your help, we can continue to provide these Art Kits to children in need. Donations can be made online, by mail to the North Hills Art Center, 3432 Babcock Blvd, Pittsburgh, PA 15237, or by calling our office at 412-364-3622.

“Our patrons were greatly appreciative and excited at the totally unexpected gift for their children! The parents do not have the funds to afford the quality of materials you provided.”

Jim Stebler, Director, North Hills Food Bank
